Taylor Alison Swift. Where do I even begin?
It has been a pleasure to watch you grow up and grow up with you these past 7 years. It has been a complete honor. I never knew at 16 that someone as awesome as you was going to walk into my life and change it forever.
I never would’ve known 7 years ago that you would be so important to me still to this day. On that miserable day 4 years ago, you were there for me when no one else was. On that miserable night a year and a half ago, you were there for me when no one else was. And because you were there, I am still living and breathing and walking on this Earth.
I’ve watched you open for Keith Urban. I’ve watched you sell out the Sprint Center on the Fearless tour. I’ve watched you sell out Arrowhead Stadium for the Speak Now tour. I’ve watched you sell out the Scottrade Center for the Red tour. I’ve watched you sell out the Sprint Center two nights in a row for the Red tour. I’ve watched you sell out the Intrust Bank Arena on the Red tour. I had the honor of meeting you and talking to you about my life and showed you tattoos I have that you inspired that I will have on me the rest of my life. And most importantly, I’ve watched you grow as a person.
You’ve gone from the girl who posts dorky myspace comments and wears polos, to a girl who had curly hair and wore sundresses and cowboy boots, to a girl who has straight hair and obsesses over cats and plays scrabble and is secretly 85 years old.
You’ve gone from living on a Christmas tree farm to living in the bright lights of LA and Nashville. You’ve gone from having big dreams to having even bigger dreams. And you’ve achieved all of them. All before you turned 24.
I am always going to be thankful that you came into my life. And I promise you that. When I have kids, I’ll point to the pictures and tell them your name. Hopefully you’ll still be on tour and I can be that awesome mom who takes her kids to see you and sings right along with them and is dancing her ass off all night long.
Alright, I know I’ve rambled a lot, so I’m just going to cut to the chase. As much as I don’t want to believe it, you are 24 years old today. I can’t believe it. You can’t be 24! It seems like you were just 18 and wearing sparkly dresses just yesterday!
Anyways, Happy 24th birthday, Taylor Alison Swift.
You deserve everything in the world and I hope that in the future, things only get better for you.
I love you to the moon and back,

One time in middle school this girl in my class had her period and it leaked through her jeans and when we had to leave class my teacher told her to get up and she refused to and he was like forcing her and then he saw the blood and had the most priceless face on and she sat back down and he…
Taylor Swift has about as many grammys as she has ex boyfriends and I think that sort of shows what people focus on when they talk about women.
